How to Link a Reporting Overview Tile with a Reporting Channel

Adding a link to a Reporting Overview creates a tile that connects with a Reporting Channel or Reporting Channel Group to provide the user community with a quick and visual way to access focused reporting content.

To add a link to a Reporting Overview: 

  1. Go to the Reporting app from the left-hand side navigation bar

  2. Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

  3. Navigate to the Reporting Framework tab

  1. Click on the Reporting Framework where you want to edit the Overview Page

  2. Find and click on the Overview Page where you want to add a link, or create an Overview Page

The Overview page will open, where you can add and edit the background and links to Reporting Channels.

  1. Click on the Gear icon rueda.png in the top right corner of the field

  2. Select “Add Reporting Link”

A new window will pop up prompting you to select a Reporting Channel or Reporting Channel Group to connect the tile with, provide an optional alternative title for the channel, and add a thumbnail image.

  1. Select a channel or group to connect the tile with

  2. Choose a thumbnail image by clicking the Plus Sign icon in the grey placeholder

  3. Enter an alternative title for the title, if desired

  4. Click “Done” in the bottom right corner of the window

The tile will be immediately created and can be moved and organized as needed.

 

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permission can edit Reporting Frameworks

  • You can only edit Reporting Frameworks if your platform has been configured to include the Reporting module
