How to Edit an Expert Channel

Editing an Expert Channel allows you to update key Expert Channel information like your target audience, the title, the description, and the classification.

To edit an Expert Channel: 

  1. Navigate to your Announce on Home Inbox
  2. Go to the Expert Channel tab  
  3. Select the Expert Channel you want to edit
  4. Move to the Settings tab
  5. Click the “Edit” button in the right corner of your inbox
  6. You will then be able to edit the title, description, target audience, classification, and language
  7. Click the “Done” button in the top right corner when you are happy with your settings

The settings will be automatically updated.

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can contribute to Expert Channels
  • Up to ten articles will be visible in the Expert Channel on the homepage – any additional articles can be viewed by clicking on “More” at the bottom of the channel  
  • Users cannot hide Expert Channels using their feed selector on the homepage
  • Updates to language settings are only available on platforms where your company has requested this configuration 
  • Language updates will only be applicable to the UX – not the content
