How to Delete an Expert Channel

Deleting an Expert Channel removes all uploaded posts and gives you the opportunity to remove content that is no longer needed and a chance to start a new and refocused channel.

To Delete an Expert Channel:

  1. Go to the News app from the left-hand side navigation bar

  2. Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

  1. Navigate to the Expert Channels tab

  2. Click on the Three-Dot3.pngicon to the left of the title of the Expert Channel you want to delete

  3. Select “Delete”

A window will open asking you to confirm that you want to remove the post 

  1. Click on the “Delete” button if you are sure you want to remove the channel

Your Expert Channel will be automatically deleted from your platform.

 

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can delete Expert Channels

  • If you delete an Expert Channel from the system, both the Expert Channel and the content in the channel will be permanently deleted from your platform – be sure you do not need that content anymore
