How to Add a New Team Member to an Expert Channel

Adding team members to an Expert Channel helps you to democratize moderator responsibilities and ensures that other experts with unique insights and knowledge can post and share within the channel.

To add a team member to an Expert Channel: 

  1. Go to your Announce on Home Inbox
  2. Navigate to the Expert Channel tab
  3. Click on the Expert Channel where you want to add a team member
  4. Switch to the Team tab
  5. Add one or more team members by clicking on the “Owner” field and selecting new members from the drop-down

The new team member(s) will be immediately added and the selected users will receive an automatic notification that they have been added to the Expert Channel.

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can add content to Expert Channels
  • All Expert Channel owners will be able to add, edit, and delete Expert Channel content
  • Up to ten articles will be visible in the Expert Channel on the homepage – any additional articles can be viewed by clicking on “More” at the bottom of the channel  
  • Users can hide Expert Channels using their feed selector on the homepage
