How to Edit Knowledge Channel Structure and Content

Editing the content and structure of your Knowledge Channel helps you to effectively curate and display channel content so that your target audience can enjoy a thoughtful user experience.

To add a new section to your Knowledge Channel: 

  1. Go to your Curate Knowledge Inbox
  2. Navigate to the Knowledge Channel tab
  3. Click on the Knowledge Channel you want to edit
  4. Stay in the Knowledge Channel tab
  5. Scroll down to just below the last section
  6. Click on “Add Section”

The section will be immediately created.

  1. Give your section a title that describes the theme of the Knowledge Zones you will add

Your Knowledge Channel section is now ready for you to start adding content.

 

To add or remove content from a Knowledge Channel section: 

  1. Go to your Promote Knowledge Inbox
  2. Navigate to the Knowledge Channel tab
  3. Click on the Knowledge Channel you want to edit
  4. Stay in the “Knowledge Channel” tab
  5. Find the section where you want to add the content
  6. Click on the round plus sign in the gray drop zone

A new window will pop up where you can select the Knowledge Zones you want to add to the section.  

  1. Select the Knowledge Zones you want to add by ticking the checkbox in the top left corner of the content card  
  2. Untick any checkboxes for Knowledge Zones you want to remove
  3. Click the “Done” button

The content will be immediately added to the Knowledge Channel and pushed to your target audience's homepage.

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can create Knowledge Channels
  • Use the search and filter feature when adding content to your Knowledge Zone to save time and effort
  • Only Knowledge Zones can be added to a Knowledge Channel – if you want to add additional types of content, create an Expert Channel
