How to Edit a Knowledge Channel

Editing a Knowledge Channel allows you to update the title, description, and target audience as well as define new permissions and update channel content.

To edit a Knowledge Channel: 

  1. Navigate to the Knowledge app from the left-hand side navigation bar

  1. Switching to the curated view from the top of the page

  1. Navigate to the “Knowledge channels” tab

  2. Click on the Knowledge Channel you want to edit

Your new view will have three tabs. 

 

Knowledge Channel:

Where you can add or remove content to your Knowledge Channel and update the channel structure

Settings:

Where you can update the title, description, and target audience

Team:

Where you can add or remove channel owners

 
  1. Select the tab where you want to make changes

  2. Click on the back arrow 3.png in the top left corner of the Knowledge Channel window once you are done making changes

Your updates will automatically save and be pushed to your target audience.  

Any new team members will receive an automatic notification that they have been added to the Knowledge Channel.

 

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can create Knowledge Channels

  • All Knowledge Channel owners will be able to add, edit, and delete Knowledge Channel content
