How to Create a Quick Link Channel

Quick Link Channels lets you organize a curated list of internal or external links, making key resources easily accessible with a single click. These channels are displayed to your target audience in the “Links” tab of the left-hand navigation bar.

To Create a Quick Link Channel: 

  1. Go to the Links section from the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Switch to the Curate view at the top of the view

The Quick Link channels inbox will open.

  1. Click on the “Get Started” button in the center of your screen if it is the first Quick Links channel you are creating

Alternatively, click on the Plus Sign icon plus.png in the top right corner of the inbox if you have alrady created channels.

A new window will pop up where you will be prompted to enter key channel information.  

  1. Give your Quick Link Channel a descriptive title

  2. Define the target audience 

  3. Add more owners, if needed

  4. Toggle off “Show on Home“ if you don't want this channel’s links to appear on your target audience's Homepage

  1. Click “Done“ in the bottom right corner of the window

Your Quick Link Channel will be immediately created. You can start adding content that will be automatically published to your target audience.

 

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can create Quick Links channels 

  • Users cannot hide Quick Links Channels pushed to them

  • Be aware of the required access permissions for linked resources

  • “Show on Home“ toggle is available only if Quick Links are enabled for the Homepage by your platform's administrator

  • The “Show on Home“ toggle is enabled by default; switch it off if you don’t want this channel’s content to be pushed on your target audience’s homepage

  • When multiple channels are pushed to the Homepage, the most recently updated or added links from these channels will take priority
