How to Request a Research Proposal from a Supplier

Requesting a research proposal from an agency partner is a straightforward way to find the best supplier for research for your project.

To request a research proposal for your research project:

  1. Go to your managed project
  2. Navigate to the “Supplier” tab
  3. Select a supplier by clicking on the “Select” button to the right of your chosen supplier

Once you choose your supplier, several new fields will appear.

  1. Scroll to the section “Pick Your Contact”
  2. Click on the dropdown menu to select an existing contact or add a new one by clicking “New Contact“ and filling in contact details in a pop-up window.
  3. Scroll to the section “Request or Upload Proposal”
  4. Click “Request” to request a project proposal

Your request will be automatically sent to the contact you selected from the dropdown menu. They will be able to upload the proposal in the same section. This is the same space where you will be able to review their proposal submissions.

 

Insider Tips:

  • You can request research proposals from multiple research agencies and then select the one that best fits your research goals and objectives
  • If the supplier you want to work with is not yet on-roster, you can request for them to be put on-roster
  • Requesting a research proposal is only possible if your platform is configured for research management and supplier collaboration
