How to Request Project Proposals from Multiple Research Agencies

Requesting research proposals from multiple agencies helps you to find the best structure and design option for your research project.

To request research proposals from multiple research agencies: 

  1. Go to the project where you want to add a vendor 
  2. Move to the Supplier tab 
  3. Click “Select“ button next to the Research Partners who you want to submit a proposal

The selected suppliers will be added below the selection area. 

4. Scroll to the section with the first vendor 

Here you can fill in the key information.

5. Navigate to the “Pick Your Contact” section 

6. Click on the dropdown menu to select an existing contact

If the contact is new, click “New contact“ next to the section’s title and fill in the name, surname, and email address of the contact person in the appeared window.

7. Continue to the “Request or Upload Proposal” section 

8. Click “Request”

9. Move to the next supplier’s section 

10. Repeat steps 5-10 as needed 

Each time you click “Request”, the request for a research proposal will be automatically generated and sent to the contact you selected from the dropdown menu. They will be able to upload the proposal in the same section. This is the same space where you will be able to review their proposal submissions. 

Insider Tips: 

  • You cannot request a proposal without selecting a contact 
  • If you do not need a proposal, you can click “Skip” in the “Request Approval” section
