Uploading a video using your platform's Uploader is a straightforward and effective way to add content to your platform. Quick Uploader allows you to upload in just three clicks. The Advanced Uploader enables you to add tags, ensuring the video is easily searchable and accessible when needed.

To upload a video using the Quick Uploader:

Go to Upload from the left-hand side navigation bar

Click on the Plus sign in the middle of the grey Upload dropzone

Select “Videos“

Choose to which library the video will be uploaded on the platform
A file selector window will pop up.
5. Choose the video you want to add
Once you click on the file, your video will start uploading automatically. The video will be published to all users.
To upload a video using Advanced Upload:

Go to Upload from the left-hand side navigation bar

Click “Advanced Upload”
A window will pop up prompting you to select the type of content you want to upload.

Select “Video”

Choose to which library the video will be uploaded on the platform

Click “Browse Files” to choose a document
File selector window will pop up.

Select the document

Click “Upload“ in the bottom right corner of the file selector

Click “Continue” in the top right corner of the window
You will be prompted to review your files.

Click "Continue" again if the right file was uploaded
Your upload will begin processing and you will be returned to the main Upload view.
Once your upload has been processed, a “Continue” button will appear under the “Actions” column of the upload history tracker.

Click “Continue” under the “Actions” column
A new window will pop up where you can edit the title, add a description, and update the tags (metadata).

Fill out the context fields – these values will be the tags that help users find your video in Search

Click "Next" in the top right corner of the window
The next screen will ask you to define who will be able to view your video.

Start typing in a username, email, or user group

Select your audience from the dropdown

Click “Publish” in the top right corner of the window
Your video will be published to your selected community, and you will be able to view it in Search as well as your Advanced Upload history.

You can only upload a video using the Uploader if your platform has the Video Library feature configured
