How to Clone a Report in the Reporting Inbox

Cloning a report in the Distribute Reports inbox saves time and effort by allowing you to duplicate and transfer relevant and valuable report information to a new report. You will be able to clone an existing report without the Report Waves and Content it contains.

To clone a report in the Distribute Reports Inbox:

  1. Go to the Reporting app from the left-hand side navigation bar

  2. Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

  1. Find the report you want to clone – either by using the search feature in the top right-hand corner of your Reports inbox or by scrolling through the pages of the inbox using the scrolling arrows in the bottom right-hand corner

  2. Click on Three-Dot icon3.pngon next to the report that you want to clone

  3. Select "Clone" from a drop down menu

A pop up window will appear asking you to confirm the action.

  1. Click “Clone“

A duplicated copy of the report will be created “CLONE - {originalReportName}” and will appear as the top entry in the Reports inbox.

All relevant information will be duplicated – from the title to the context to the viewers – but will not include content, attachments, or report waves from the original report.

You can immediately begin working on the new report.
