Adding a subsection to a Reporting Channel helps you curate reporting data, allowing for further categorization and organization of channel content.

To add a subsection to a Reporting Channel:

Go to the Reporting app from the left-hand side navigation bar

Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

Navigate to the “Reporting Channels” tab

Find and select the Reporting Channel where you want to add the subsection(s)
The channel editor will open.

Find the section where you want to add subsection(s)

Click the three-dot menu to the left of the section title

Select “Add Subsection”
A new window will pop up where you can give the subsection a title, upload a thumbnail image, and give the subsection a description.

Give the section a descriptive title

Click on the drop zone to upload a thumbnail image

Add a clear and concise description
-
Click “Done” in the bottom right corner of the window
The subsection will be automatically added, and you will be able to immediately add content.

Subsection content must be the same type of content – either a report or a widget – as the parent section

Only internal experts with special platform permissions can edit Reporting Channels

You can only edit Reporting Channels if your platform has been configured to include the Reporting module
