Editing a Reporting Channel allows you to update its title and target audience, ensuring your content remains relevant and reaches the right viewers.

To edit a Reporting Channel:

Go to the Reporting app from the left-hand side navigation bar

Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

Navigate to the “Reporting Channels” tab

Click on the Reporting Channel you want to edit

Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner of the view
The Report Channel Settings sidebar will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.

Click on the Edit iconin the top right corner of the sidebar

Make changes to the title and description, if necessary

Click on the “Image“ field to change thumbnail image – this will be visible to users in Search

Click anywhere in the “Members” field to edit the target audience, then start typing in a username or user group

Select one or more users from the dropdown

Click the “X” next to a user name or group to remove them from the target audience

Click anywhere on the “Owners“ field to update the owners of the Channel, then start typing in a username or user group

Select one or more users from the dropdown

Click the “X” next to a user name or group to remove them as owners

Click “Done” in the top right corner of the sidebar once you are satisfied with your updates
The changes will be applied immediately and your target audience will be able to view the channel. Removed users or user groups will no longer be able to see the channel content.

Only internal experts with special platform permissions can create or edit Reporting Channels

You can only edit Reporting Channels if your platform has been configured to include the Reporting module

Reporting Channels will be visible to business users only if they are added to a Reporting Channel Group
