How to Publish a Research Project

Publishing your research project lets you share your findings with your colleagues by adding the project to your platform’s Search.

To publish your project:

  1. Go to your project
  2. Make sure all the essential information is filled out and you have all the necessary approvals
  3. Click on “Publish” in the top right corner of your project screen

A new window will pop up.

  1. Give your project a description, if needed
  2. Add a thumbnail – this will be visible in Search
  3. Click on “Next” in the bottom right corner of the window

The next screen will ask you to choose who will be able to view your project – this is where you define permissions for your project. You will have three options to publish your project. 

All Employees:

The entire user community to be able to see your research

Specific Promotor Group:

A limited number of users should see the content

Specific Viewers:

Your research will be shared with a specific group e.g. Marketing or Insights

  1. Select the option that best fits your publishing needs
  2. Click on the “Next” button in the bottom right corner of the window

On the next screen, you will select the viewers and promoters (if applicable) from a dropdown.

  1. Select your audience from the dropdown – you can select one or more individual users, or you can choose a group
  2. Click on the “Publish” button in the bottom right corner of the window once you have selected your audience

Once you have published your project, another window will pop up prompting you to share your research with other users.

  1. Enter a message, if desired
  2. Select the users to notify about your published research
  3. Click “Share” or copy the link to share via another communication channel

Your project will be published to your selected community, and you will be able to view it in Search as well as in your Project Inbox.



Insider Tips:

  • If you update your project after publishing, be sure to click on “Republish” so your updates will be visible to your audience
  • You can update your project’s permissions by republishing the project
