Adding Announcement Channels enables you to deliver curated content on the topics and themes that are most relevant and important to your user community.

To Add Your First Announcement Channel:

Go to the News app from the left-hand side navigation bar

Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

Stay in the Announcements tab

Click the “Get Started” button in the center of your screen
A new window will pop up where you can name the channel, define the target audience, and add more owners for your News Channel.

Give your Announcement Channel a descriptive title

Start typing in a name or group in the “Target Audience“ section to define your target audience

Add other owners if needed
-
Click “Done” in the bottom right corner of the window
Your Announcement Channel will be automatically created and ready for you to add content.
To Add Additional Announcement Channels:

Go to the News app from the left-hand side navigation bar

Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

Stay in the Announcements tab

Click on the Plus Sign icon in the top right corner of the inbox

Select “Add Announcement Channel”
A new window will pop up where you can name the channel, define the target audience, and add more owners for your Announcement Channel.

Give your Announcement Channel a descriptive title

Start typing in a name or group in the “Target Audience“ section to define your target audience

Add other owners if needed

Click “Done” in the bottom right corner of the window
Your Announcement Channel will be automatically created and ready for you to add content.

Only internal experts with special platform permissions can add content to Announcements
