How to Add Team Members to a Shareable News Feed

Adding team members to a Shareable News Feed democratizes moderator responsibilities and ensures that other experts can update Feed settings and adjust the Feed to meet the needs of your target audience.

To add a team member to a Shareable News Feed: 

  1. Go to the News app from the left-hand side navigation bar

  2. Switch to the Curate view at the top of the page

  1. Navigate to the Feeds tab

  2. Click on the Feed where you want to add a team member

You will be taken to a new view where you can edit the content and settings of the feed.

  1. Click on the Gear icon 1.png in the top right corner of the page

A Feed settings sidebar will open.

  1. Click on the Edit icon 2.png in the top right corner of the sidebar

  2. Click anywhere in the “Members” field

  1. Start typing in a username or user group

A list of options will be displayed in the dropdown.

  1. Select one or more users from the dropdown

  2. Click “Done” in the top right corner of the sidebar

The new team member(s) will be immediately added to the Feed and receive an automatic notification that they have been added as owners.

 

Insider Tips: 

  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can edit Shareable News Feeds

  • All Shareable News Feed owners will be able to add, edit, and delete Feed content
