How to Add an Interactive Calendar to a Knowledge Zone

Adding an interactive calendar to a Knowledge Zone allows you to publish relevant events to colleagues that can be viewed in different time formats and downloaded to personal calendars.

To add an interactive calendar to a Knowledge Zone: 

  1. Open a new or existing Knowledge Zone
  2. Navigate to or create a section where you will add the calendar
  3. Click the Gear Icon in the top right corner of the section
  4. The Section Settings panel that lets you personalize your Knowledge Zone section will open on the left.
  5. Find the “Pick Elements” section
  6. Click the Dropdown Icon

A list of available elements will be visible. There are four options.


Allows you to type or paste and words, links, and other text-based content.


Used to upload pictures or other visual elements in png and jpeg format


Provides the space to add content like documents, projects, or reports


Creates a space to track and announce current and upcoming events, events, or deadlines

  1. Click on or drag and drop “Calendar” into the section

The calendar will be automatically added to your section. You can add events or update how the dates are displayed.



Only users with permission to view your Knowledge Zone will be able to see the calendar. Your audience will only be able to view the calendar once the Knowledge Zone has been re(published).


Insider Tips: 

  • Only users with specific permissions can add elements to Knowledge Zones
  • You cannot add other content types to a calendar section
