How to Add an Event to a Knowledge Zone Calendar

Adding events to your Knowledge Zone calendar informs your viewers about key events and deadlines.

To add an event to your interactive calendar: 

  1. Open a new or existing Knowledge Zone
  2. Navigate to or create a section with the calendar  
  3. Go to the date where you want to add the calendar event
  4. Click on the calendar square where you want to add an event

A new window will pop up prompting you to enter key event information.

  1. Give your event a descriptive title
  2. Click the Calendar Icon to update the event date, if needed
  3. Update to the start and end date by entering them manually or by clicking on the Clock Icon to select a time
    a. You can also click to enable the all-day toggle if it is an all-day event
  4. Add a clear and concise description
  5. Click the “Save” button

The event will be automatically added to the calendar and become visible to your viewer community.

Insider Tips: 

  • Only users with specific permissions can add events to Knowledge Zones
  • Click on the event to view all relevant information
  • Events can be downloaded as an .ics file and exported to an external calendar
  • Click the Calendar Icon at the top of the calendar to return to today’s date
  • Use the left and right arrows at the top of the calendar to navigate between months
