Notifying viewers about newly published Knowledge Zone content is an easy to share knowledge and keep your colleagues updated about the relevant and helpful content.

To notify your colleagues about newly published Knowledge Zone content:
- Make changes in your Knowledge Zone
- Click the “Publish" button in the top right corner
A new window will pop up prompting you to enter or review key Knowledge Zone details like the title, thumbnail and categorization. If you have already published the Knowledge Zone skip to step 7.
- Click on the “Thumbnail“ grey placeholder to add a thumbnail image from your desktop
- Update the Title field if needed to give your Knowledge Zone a descriptive name
- Add a description
- Select tags from the different Classification dropdown menus
- Click “Next” in the top right corner of the window
- Select relevant tags by clicking the dropdowns under each option
- Click the “Next” button
In the next view, you will be able to select your target audience, or the “Viewers”. If you have already published the Knowledge Zone and don’t need to update the viewers, skip to step 12.
- Start typing a name or group in the “Viewers” field to define who will have access to your published Knowledge Zone
- Select the name or user group by clicking on it
- Type and select “Everyone” if you want everyone on the platform to have access to it
- Click “Next”
You will be prompted to select the users or user groups who should be notified that you have published new content.

Any user who can view the Knowledge Zone |

If additional users need to be notified, type their names into the field at the bottom and select them from the user list

Click “Publish”
Your selected users will receive an automatic notification that new content has been published. Their notification will contain a link to the content for easy access.
Insider Tips:

Only users with specific permissions can edit and publish Knowledge Zones

Only Owners can publish and notify users about new content

You can only notify users who are defined as “Viewers”
