Notifying viewers about newly published Knowledge Zone content is an easy to share knowledge and keep your colleagues updated about the relevant and helpful content.

To notify your colleagues about newly published Knowledge Zone content:
- Update your Knowledge Zone
- Click the “Publish” button in the top right corner of the Zone
A new window will pop up prompting you to enter or review key Knowledge Zone details like the title, thumbnail and categorization. If you have already published the Knowledge Zone skip to step 7.
- Enter a descriptive title
- Upload a thumbnail image by clicking on the Plus Sign Icon in the gray drop zone
- Enter a concise description
- Select relevant tags by clicking the dropdowns under each option
- Click the “Next” button
In the next view, you will be able to select your target audience, or the “Viewers”. If you have already published the Knowledge Zone and don’t need to update the viewers, skip to step 12.
- Click in the “Viewer” field
- Start typing the name of a colleague or a group who should be able to view the Knowledge Zone
- Select the name or user group by clicking on it or pressing Enter
- Repeat steps 8-10 as needed
- Once you have added your viewers, click on the “Next” button
You will be prompted to select the users or user groups who should be notified that you have published new content.
- Click the checkboxes next to the users you want to be notified
All Subscribers: |

Any user who has viewed the Knowledge Zone |
All Team Members: |
Owner or Expert in the Knowledge Zone |

- If additional users need to be notified, type their names into the field at the bottom and select them from the user list.
- Click the “Publish”
Your selected users will receive an automatic notification that new content has been published. Their notification will contain a link to the content for easy access.
Insider Tips:
- Only users with specific permissions can edit and publish Knowledge Zones
- Only Owners can publish and notify users about new content
- You can only notify users who are defined as “Viewers”
