How to Preview Content in Search

Previewing content in Search streamlines your workflow by providing an easy and efficient way to assess the relevance of search results for your work.

To view all pages from your source in the Document UDV in Search:

  1. Navigate to Search
  2. Type in a term or phrase you want to look for and press Enter
  3. Click on the content you want to preview

The platform will automatically load all the results from that source

To view the relevant pages from your source from the Document UDV in Search:

  1. Navigate to Search
  2. Type in a term or phrase you want to look for and press Enter\
  3. Click on the content you want to preview
  4. Select "Relevant Pages" at the top of the left side bar within the Document Preview
  5. Select “Relevant Pages”

Your platform will automatically load all the relevant results from that source.

Insider Tips: 

  • Macro-enabled, e.g., pptm, xlsm, xltm, or docm, will not generate previews in UDV
  • HTML files do not generate preview
  • Knowledge Zones do not generate a preview
  • Files that are graphic-heavy will not generate previews regardless of the file type
