How to Clone a Report in the Distribute Reports inbox

Cloning a report in the Distribute Reports Inbox saves you time and effort by allowing you to duplicate and transfer relevant and valuable report content to a new report. You will be able to clone an existing report without the Report Waves and Content it contains.

To clone a report in the Distribute Reports Inbox:

  1. Go to the Distribute Reports Inbox
  2. Find the report you want to clone – either by using the search feature in the top right-hand corner of your Distribute Reports Inbox or by scrolling through the pages of the Inbox using the scrolling arrows in the bottom right-hand corner
  3. Click on Three-dot icon on the report that you want to clone
  4. Select "Clone"

A duplicated copy of the report will be created “CLONE - {originalReportName}” and will be the top entry in the Distribute Report Inbox.

All relevant content will be duplicated – from the title to the context to the viewers – but will not contain content, attachments, report waves from original report.

You can immediately begin working on the new report.

Insider Tips:

  1. A single report can be cloned at a time
  2. The pop-up (snack bar) to notify the report is cloned will auto-close in 5 seconds
