What Are Expert Channels?

Expert Channels are a centralized tool that internal experts at your company use to push important content to your homepage - ensuring you never miss important updates, key information, or research findings.

These expertly curated channels will be located on the upper, far-right side of your homepage. These channels will have internally relevant titles and a thumbnail that helps you to understand the topic of the channel.  

To take advantage of the content pushed by your internal experts, click on the Expert Channel. You will then be directed to the channel inbox where you will find Expert News Posts and internal content (especially from Knowledge Zones).

To learn more about the Expert Channel, click on the Information Icon  on the top right of your screen. This will open a side window that displays additional information, including a description, the classification, and the owners so you can reach out if you need additional information.

Since this information is so important, you cannot unsubscribe or hide Expert Channels from your homepage. This guarantees that you and your colleagues all receive the same timely and relevant updates.

Insider Tips: 

  • You will see Expert Channels if your company has requested this configuration/created an Expert Channel
  • Only internal experts with special platform permissions can contribute to Expert Channels
  • Up to ten articles will be visible in the Expert Channel on the homepage – any additional articles can be viewed by clicking on “More” at the bottom of the channel
